Grasses

Grasses

Grasses come in a wide variety. Each holds its own special kind and variety because they prefer to grow in wet soils and near water. The ecosystem thrives on native plants because of their roots. Each root system is complex and strong which makes them a good choice for areas around water. They each have their seed head that helps it pollinate and spread without having to be replanted or more plants purchased. They can adapt to many different areas and soil types. They can thrive in acidic, sandy, wet, moist, well drained or boggy conditions. Each one has its size, shape and color but most are tall and slender. Check out all of our other plants here
