Drought Tolerant Plants

Drought tolerant plants are much needed outwest and in parts of the united states where they do not get much rain. These plants use their own succulent tubes or leaves to keep or retain the moisture so that it can go longer periods of time without rain. Many varieties are cactus, and plants that have a waxy layer which will help retain the water and hold moisture in. The burning bush is a good example because it can still grow during the hot heat of summer with little to no rain.
